Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker

A Seattle holiday tradition since 2006, Verlaine and McCann's Land Of The Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker gives the traditional ballet a bawdy makeover!

This "rollicking, frolicking, unabashed and uninhibited celebration of the season" (Seattle P.I) showcases an all-star cast from Seattle's Burlesque A-list and the finest dancers and jazz musicians in the Pacific Northwest.

The Light Princess

In this uplifting story, a princess is cursed to have no gravity - physical or emotional. Without emotional gravity, she can’t experience any weighty feelings. And without physical gravity, she cannot touch the ground! As the kingdom scrambles to break the curse before her sixteenth birthday, the princess finds a love that helps her celebrate what makes her different.
